A library of signs
Sunday, September 21st, 2008Sometimes we encounter people on our weekly survey of the city. It is not uncommon for the initial reaction to be one of suspicion. Understandably, we are thought to be either surveyors for a wealthy development outfit or plain-clothes law enforcement officers.
Today’s visit with Cleveland is worth noting because the gentleman we met understood our mission without needing any explanation.
While completing his Sunday morning yard work Dustin, the owner of the above pictured vehicle, said in stride, “It’s a library of signs that you guys use to make art.”
Dustin devotes little time to gutter cleaning as he has “too much going on these days.” He admires the artistry of sign painting and has dabbled in it a little (see above) over the years.
